One of those songs you have a really weird connection with, where you’ll never really be able to remove it from the context of when you first started listening to it. Not in a bad way, I still throw this LP on from time to time. Nice mix of chill and idm sounds.
Fair Ohs - “Colors” off Everything Is Dancing
this record isn’t blowing my mind, but the summery vibe it’s giving off is really working for me right now. good album to push through the end of summer with.

Jesse’s Super Basement EP is a short and simple record, but the simplicity is also why it works so well. This is very organic, sunny electronic music that dabbles in everything from hip-hop to soul and jazz. The drum beats are dusty, as if they have been hanging out in the bottom of a crate somewhere begging to be dug out. Trumpets and other various horns waft through the air, creating a hazy, smoke-filled atmosphere. Finally, keyboards, organs, shakers, and vocal samples fill in the gaps, kicking that soul feeling into gear.
